Leo's hands trembled. He messaged Mira: "What did you build?"
"Leo, I found something in the archives. A complete iOS build of 'Playman Summer' – but it's not a game anymore. It's a gateway. Please. You were the only one who ever beat the Secret Tide Level. I need you to play it again."
Leo's heart stopped. "What do you mean, trapped?"
It looked like the Playman Summer he remembered: the shimmering turquoise water, the bendable palm trees, the smiling NPCs handing out coconut drinks. But something was wrong. The sky had a second sun. The shadows stretched in two directions. And the music… the music was a heartbeat.
The screen displayed a binary choice: REPLACE MIRA? Y/N
He looked at his reflection on the iPhone's black glass.
And his body—real, physical—was gone from his apartment.
She looked up. "It's a trade. The game needs a soul to keep running. If I leave… someone has to stay."
The objective: Find the Lost Developer.
