A snippet of a lullaby I hadn’t heard since childhood, the one my grandmother hummed. And on MN_09, a woman’s laugh. I froze.

No sender name. No previous correspondence. Just that strange, trailing string of text. My first instinct was to delete it—spam, probably some obscure promotional list I’d been scraped onto. I put on my good headphones and opened MN_01. By track MN_07, I noticed something odd

The subject line landed in my inbox at 4:17 a.m. on a Tuesday. A snippet of a lullaby I hadn’t heard

But pack 036? The legend said 035 was his last, released in 2019, the week he went missing.

It was my laugh.
