Discussion

This study has several limitations. The sample size was relatively small, and the participants were recruited through snowball sampling, which may not be representative of the larger Muslim population in Indonesia. Future studies can build upon this research by employing a larger sample size and more diverse recruitment methods.

This study contributes to our understanding of the significance of Mari Sembahyang in modern Indonesian society. The findings emphasize the need for Muslims to prioritize prayer in their daily lives, while also highlighting the importance of community support and understanding. The study's results can inform policies and programs aimed at promoting Islamic practices and community building in Indonesia. Findings Hooker, M

Limitations

Here is a sample of what the paper would look like in PDF format:

Indonesia is the world's most populous Muslim-majority country, with approximately 231 million Muslims, constituting 87% of the total population (BPS, 2020). Islam plays a vital role in shaping the country's culture, values, and daily life. Mari Sembahyang, a fundamental aspect of Islamic practice, is an obligatory prayer performed five times a day. Despite its significance, the practice of Mari Sembahyang in modern Indonesian society has not received sufficient attention. Islamic law in Indonesia: A review of the literature

Mari Sembahyang, which translates to "Let's Pray" in English, is a widely practiced Islamic ritual in Indonesia. Despite its importance, the significance of Mari Sembahyang in modern Indonesian society remains understudied. This paper aims to explore the role of prayer in daily life, its impact on individuals and society, and the challenges faced by Muslims in practicing Mari Sembahyang. Through a qualitative study of Indonesian Muslims, this research reveals the importance of Mari Sembahyang in fostering spiritual growth, community building, and social cohesion.

Previous studies on Islamic practices in Indonesia have focused on the role of religiosity in shaping individual and societal behavior (Azra, 2017; Hooker, 2015). However, the specific practice of Mari Sembahyang has not been extensively studied. Some scholars have noted the decline of religiosity among Indonesian youth (Koch, 2018), while others have highlighted the importance of prayer in maintaining social cohesion and community building (Said, 2019).
