"Piyanā (Father), this is not an alliance. This is slavery! The Mughal Emperor Akbar demands a Rajput princess as a bride for political peace. Are we goats to be gifted?"

Jodhaa stares at him. He removes his helmet.

"I know what the letter says, Pita. I have heard the whispers of the maids. Akbar wants a Rajput queen to unite his empire. Not through war, but through marriage." Jodha Akbar Sinhala Episode 1

Everyone turns. Princess Jodhaa, barely nineteen, walks forward with the grace of a goddess and the courage of a warrior.

The wedding procession moves forward. Elephants, drums, and flowers.

"If Princess Jodhaa agrees, she will not be a prisoner. She will be the Empress of Hindustan. And her people will see that the Mughal crown respects their honor." Are we goats to be gifted

"Then I will show them what a Rajput woman is. I will keep my Krishna in my heart. I will keep my sword under my pillow. And if the Emperor ever tries to break my faith... I will break his peace."
