The first evaluation is a door that doesn’t swing both ways. “I-LAND” glows above us, blue and unblinking. GROUND feels like a dare wrapped in concrete. We watch the first few rise, and for a moment, jealousy tastes exactly like hope. The stage isn’t a stage yet
