Just as they thought they had the upper hand, a police helicopter appeared, and Officer Tenpenny, who had been playing both sides all along, began to stir up more trouble.
As they cruised through the city in a beat-up old ride, CJ marveled at the sights and sounds of Los Santos. The sun-kissed beaches, the vibrant city life, and the eerie, abandoned landscapes all seemed to blend together in a world of chaos.
As CJ stepped off the plane, he was greeted by his brother Sweet, who had been keeping an eye on their neighborhood, Grove Street. The once-thriving community had fallen on hard times, plagued by gang violence and police corruption.
The sound of gunfire echoed through the streets as CJ took cover behind a nearby dumpster. He peeked around the corner, taking aim at the Ballas thugs. Sweet and Big Smoke provided cover fire, and CJ managed to take out a few of their enemies.
As CJ explored the city, he encountered a cast of characters, from the enigmatic and seductive Catalina to the cunning and ruthless crime lord, Ricardo Diaz.
Their destination was a rundown workshop on the outskirts of town, where Frank was trying to sell a shipment of stolen cars. But when they arrived, things quickly took a turn for the worse. A rival gang, the Ballas, had set a trap, and CJ, Sweet, and Big Smoke found themselves in the midst of a fierce shootout.
As CJ navigated the familiar streets, he was approached by a familiar face, Big Smoke. The laid-back, smooth-talking friend had been a part of their crew since childhood. "What's up, homie?" Big Smoke asked, eyeing CJ's city-boy attire. "You back to help us take back our neighborhood?"
