Emotional Intelligence 2.0 By Travis Bradberry-... Apr 2026

Day seven was the crash.

Adrian Cole was, by every metric, a genius. His IQ was a soaring arc, his code elegant, his logic unassailable. He was the youngest lead architect at Nexus Dynamics, a company that built AI systems for global logistics.

And for the first time, he realized: being right wasn’t the point. Being connected was. Emotional Intelligence 2.0 by Travis Bradberry-...

Adrian stared. Emotional Intelligence? That touchy-feely nonsense for middle managers who couldn't code their way out of a paper bag? He almost deleted it. But then he saw the sender: Helena Vance, the CEO. She never sent personal notes. Below the HR form, she had typed:

“The Q3 algorithm is inefficient ,” he said, not looking up from his tablet. He flicked a dismissive hand toward Priya, the head of marketing. “Your projections are based on a flawed emotional premise—that clients ‘feel’ secure. They don’t feel. They compute risk. Use my model.” Day seven was the crash

“You’ve read Emotional Intelligence 2.0 ,” she said. It wasn’t a question. A dog-eared copy lay on her desk.

The client from a Japanese logistics firm joined a video call. Their AI interface had glitched, misrouting a container ship full of medical supplies. The client was furious, but his culture demanded politeness. Adrian saw the data: a 2.7% error rate, well within acceptable parameters. He prepared his logical defense. He was the youngest lead architect at Nexus

Priya’s jaw tightened. Her face, usually warm with a ready smile, went blank. Around the long mahogany table, five other colleagues shifted uncomfortably. A junior developer, Leo, had just proposed a collaborative feature. Adrian had dismantled it in thirty seconds, calling it “a toddler’s drawing of a bicycle.”

  1. THRILLER simply saved the music industry and changed popular music forever! Artists such as Leonard Bernstein became huge fans and admirers of Michael’s artistry. Many classical musicians and performers did likewise….

  2. I still marvel at Michael’s creativity and imagination! He was just beyond the beyond! I have never seen or heard another artist like him, and I doubt I ever will. I miss him, pure and simple. Bless him….
